Could it really be as simple as this ?
To simply do my job here on earth,
quietly, simply and without struggle or fear...
until I am all used up?
The Saints speak of such things,
but of course, I am no Saint!
But, with them and the moon,
I do think life is a call to service ~
the moon lighting our path through the dark,
as do the Saints!
I'm not talking about the cannonized here ...
but of the many people who simply give loving service
freely and without expecation.
I have met so many of these living Saints,
and I honor them!
At the end of each day,
I ask myself...
What have I done today to light the path of another?
It is a simple question,
but for me and my focus,
it makes all the difference!!!
